Week 7

 Produce the PCB step by step

       
The objective is to produce the PCB by etching process and then also do the step by step of PCB etching process. We also recognize the equipment use to etching the PCB start with UV light process until drilling process.

Content/procedure:

  - Photocopy the PCB layout in to OHP sheet using laser printer.

  - Put OHP sheet and the photo-etch board into a UV exposure unit for 60 second.
  - Wash the developing using ferric chloride.

  - Transfer the PCB into etching tank and do the operation for 4-5 minutes.

  - Make sure the connection of PCB is in right continuity.

Result and analysis:

  -All the process of producing the PCB is done step by step.

  -All the components are checked to avoid a short circuit between the pin and the components is in the correct connection and polarity.

Conclusion:

The method are used in this PCB process are essential so that no important steps are skipped. Skipping any of these may cause failure to the outcome of the project. The steps are done is to helped us troubleshoot the hardware and software if any complications should arise.

Week 6

(Future & Spirit)

In this week, we were briefed about the training industry by Sir Azmi Tajuddin at 4.00 pm-5.00 pm at TTL G04. At the briefing, we were briefed on how to apply for a place practical application in industry training. Furthermore, practical start date for early next year 7 january 2013 until 26 April 2013. All students have to find their practical place. From industrial training, we will be able to experience a lot indirectly learn while working .

Week 5

Construct the circuit

In this week, what we plan is construct the circuit on breadboard. We also can refer from the schematics diagram, before we start to construct the circuit on breadboard. Then, we also can see the result after construct the circuit.

What we plan, here is all component that we already want to construct on breadboard .

week 4 ( Hari Raya Aidilfitri )

In week 4 is a holiday for us. From this week, we start holiday in 1 week . During this week, we happy and enjoy with our family to celebrate Eid Mubarak or "Hari Raya Aidilfitri" for all muslim in the world, after fasting in one month . We make the reunion with all family member to celebrate this celebration. From this reunion, it also can strengthen the relationship in our family in celebration seasons.

Then, in this holiday, i and my partner doing some research for our component before testing at breadboard.

Week 3

Go To Jalan Pasar

In this week, i and my partner decided going to Jalan Pasar at Pudu in Kuala Lumpur. The reason we went there because we wanted to buy parts and equipment for our project. The shop name that we want buy component is CALTUS SDN. BHD. The location of shop at 3, Lorong Yap Hin, Off Jalan Pasar, Pudu, 55100 Kuala Lumpur . We are very grateful that all component we buy is all available for our project.

This is receipt for costing and price units for the components that i want to buy. So the overall cost is RM 13.95.

This is the list of components that we take from magazine FYP to buy at Jalan Pasar. All the components of our project can be found there.

 In this situation,my job is made easier because I know where to go to buy a component.I also know where to refer if my circuit there are problem.I can refer technician if lecturer busy. I think Jalan Pasar is a good place for student to make the project because every component is there and all job also make easier.
